American Vineyard Foundation

The searchable database provides recent progress reports of research projects funded by the American Vineyard Foundation (AVF). AVF is a California corporation organized in 1978 by the American Society of Enology and Viticulture as a vehicle to raise funds for research in viticulture and enology. The Foundation is dedicated to research efforts which have relevant application to the daily lives of the viticulture and enology professionals which it serves.

CRIS - Current Research Information System
United States Department of Agriculture

CRIS is the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) documentation and reporting system for ongoing and recently completed research projects in agriculture, food and nutrition, and forestry. Projects are conducted or sponsored by USDA research agencies, state agricultural experiment stations, the state land-grant university system, other cooperating state institutions, and participants in a number of USDA research grant programs.

Sustainable Agriculture Research & Education (SARE) Projects
SARE Searchable database

The USDA's SARE program has funded about 1,800 projects since 1988. SARE's national database features project summaries that include objectives, methods, results and potential benefits. Project summaries are submitted annually, then edited by regional communications specialists. The database includes the most recent project summary until the final report has been submitted by the project's principal investigator.

CAR - Inventory of Canadian Agri-Food Research
Canada Agri-Food Research Council

CAR is a comprehensive and up-to-date database for agriculture and food research in Canada and is a product of the Canadian Agri-Food Research Council. ICAR contains detailed information on current research projects in agriculture, food, human nutrition, aquaculture and related areas of biotechnology. Currently, ICAR describes over 2,400 projects from industry, universities, and provincial and federal establishments.

CARIS - Current Agricultural Research Information System
Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations

CARIS was created by FAO in 1975 to identify and to facilitate the exchange of information about current agricultural research projects being carried out in - or on behalf of - developing countries. An international system, working on a cooperative basis, CARIS identifies projects dealing with all aspects of agriculture.
